Hello, I’m Saray Bautista, a professional musician specialising in cello, a Suzuki teacher and a proud instructor of the wonderful Diapason the Wizard method in Colonia Álamos, Delegación Benito Juárez, Mexico City.

Here’s our story: some years ago we began this journey looking for a different way to teach music—one that would give our pupils the kind of approach we had always wanted in our country (Mexico), which at that time did not exist anywhere we knew of, and certainly not specialised for very young children. One day we discovered our Diapason the Wizard in Spain—so far away, yet offering everything we had once dreamed of.

 

So we set out on the journey and met the wonderful Paqui Castro, the method’s creator. Without hesitation we became certified and decided to open the first academy in our beautiful country, bringing the many rewards we had always dreamed of and finally making them a reality. In 2019 we were pioneers in bringing this unique method from Spain to Mexico. Today our Escuela Petit Dupré is specialised in teaching music to young children. Pupils learn through a magical, enchanting story in which we develop intellectual, motor and speech skills (intonation, singing, solfège and instrumental work). We offer classes for babies from 6 months up to 7 years (surprising, isn’t it?).

 

Our results are visible from the first lesson. We run face-to-face classes in Mexico City and online across Mexico.
