Mateja Zenzerovic — Baby Music and Musical Stimulation in Zaragoza

Early childhood music teacher specialising in Diapason the Wizard and accordion, based in Zaragoza. Music classes from babies upwards.

I am Mateja Zenzerovic, an accordion teacher and a teacher of the Diapason the Wizard method.

After training in Croatia (my native country) and in Germany, where I completed Superior studies, a Master's and the Meisterklasse at the Hochschule für Musik in Hannover, life brought me to Zaragoza.

Pedagogy has always been an essential part of my musical career. In 2005 I began working as an accordion and chamber music teacher at music schools in Hannover and Berlin (Germany), and I also directed several ensembles that helped to boost students' motivation through group work.

Following my work in Berlin I became interested in applying the Suzuki method and cross-curricular approaches to teaching, and I began using other methods to try to achieve the greatest progress and satisfaction for each pupil. That was when I realised the importance of tailoring work to pupils' needs.

After moving to Spain I continued researching many early music education methods, but when I discovered Diapason the Wizard I knew it was the method I wanted to use with my pupils. In 2022, together with my colleague Isabel Quirós (Suzuki cello teacher), we founded the association Smile Sound with the aim of offering high-quality music education for young children in Zaragoza.

At present I offer music classes for babies from 12 months and music classes for children using Diapason the Wizard at several civic centres in Zaragoza. Please contact me for more information!
