Hello! My name is Elba Arán and I began studying the violin at the age of eight. I have always loved music, and so I continued my training until I completed a dual qualification in Violin and in General Pedagogy and Music Theory, both specialisms at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de A Coruña.

 

After receiving an Erasmus grant at the Conservatorio di Musica F. E. Dall’ Abacco di Verona (Italy) in my final year, I decided to extend my studies by taking a Master’s degree in Teacher Training at the University of Santiago de Compostela.

 

Since 2015 I have been a teacher of Violin, Diapason the Wizard, Music Theory, and Aural and Vocal Education at the Authorised Centre for Professional Music of Colegio Internacional Eirís in A Coruña. I also teach Violin and Diapason the Wizard at the ¡Música Maestro! school in the same city, and Music Theory at the Municipal School of Music in Arteixo.

 

I currently combine my teaching work with a Master’s in Applied Psychology at the University of A Coruña, specialising in psychological intervention in educational settings.
