Javier Esteban Valenzuela Ledesma

Hello!

My name is Javier Valenzuela. I am a pianist and a music and piano teacher. In 2017 I graduated as a piano performer from the University of Chile, and in 2020 I obtained the qualification of secondary-school music teacher from Andrés Bello University.

I have lived in Castro, Chiloé, since 2022 and, in 2025, I decided to establish the Murmullos del Bosque Piano Academy because of the success of the piano lessons I offer. Currently, more than 25 children, young people and some adults are enrolled.

Even before qualifying as a pianist I began teaching classes and workshops at the school I attended as a child, and later in other personal projects. Although I taught both boys and girls, it was when I started working in schools that I realised how much I enjoyed teaching and spending time with the youngest children.

At the end of 2024 I became a father for the first time: my son Borja has been the main motivation to get involved with Diapason the Wizard and to join this family, and it also made me aware that there is no musical education provision for early childhood in my city. I invite you to join us on this musical journey, which we begin now in 2026!
