Experience and teaching approach

Music teacher. Music classes for babies and children. Early musical stimulation with Diapason the Wizard. Santiago, Chile.

Hello, my name is Felipe Andreani, a professional musician and lecturer in the Department of Music at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile, an orchestral and chamber musician trained at the University of Chile. Since 2011 I have been a viola lecturer.

In 2006 I joined the Youth Orquestra of the Americas, an orchestra that selects outstanding young musicians from across the continent. On the European tour led by Maestro Plácido Domingo I performed in the most important theatres in Germany, Italy, France, England and Belgium. Conducted by Maestro Domingo and together with the Konzerthaus Berlin Symphony Chorus, I made in Munich for Deutsche Grammophon the live DVD recording of Verdi's Requiem. That year I also took part with the Orquesta de las Américas in Brazil as principal viola in the St Matthew Passion, conducted by Maestro Kent Nagano. In April 2007 I took part in the USA, as the only Latin American, in the ensemble for Britten’s opera “The rape of Lucrecia” conducted by Maestro Lorin Mazel in Washington.

In the field of popular music he has collaborated on and joined performances by artists such as: Raphael, Ennio Morricone, Laura Pausini, Peter Gabriel, Il Divo, Sara Brighman, Marco Antonio Solis, Los Prisioneros, Andrés de León, Inti illiamni, Natalino, among others. He has also taken part in recordings of film soundtracks with international nominations, for example “Violeta se fue a los cielos”, the documentary “Botón de Nácar” and the HBO series “Prófugos”, among others.

Since the start of my musical career my passion for teaching has been hugely important. I have been violin and viola teacher at Colegio Tabancura and with children's orchestras in La Ligua, Recoleta, Til Til, Peñalolén and Puente Alto; I am currently coordinator and teacher of the youth orchestra of Providencia.

Today, together with my wife, who is also a professional musician (violinist), we have our little son Ennio, born in 2022. He has been the main driving force behind finding the best method for early musical initiation. In Chile, and from my experience as a professional musician and academic, there is no system that addresses early-stage work in the way DIAPASON THE WIZARD does. That is how I came to Paqui Castro and the DIAPASON THE WIZARD, exactly as this great musical education system was originally created by Paqui for the training of her children Sara and Pablo, now brilliant world-class musicians whom I greatly admire. For that reason it is a first-rate system that produces excellent results, developing absolute pitch in children during the first years of life before beginning instrumental practice.

For this reason I decided to go to Spain to train and bring this previously unseen knowledge to our country. Mozarthitos is our music academy that brings all of Paqui's knowledge and the diapason the wizard to Chile for the education of the most formative years of human development, the first septennium, and from the first months of life, when our children's brains have a potential they will never have again. I firmly believe that music and its practice are a fundamental human right; a well-educated ear can generate unexpected developments at individual and collective levels in a society. True “university” is found in those early years, and Mozarthitos with the diapason the wizard now take care of that in our country, Chile.
