She studied music with the highest distinction at the Conservatory of the University of Chile. She took violin and chamber courses at the prestigious University of Toronto's 'Toronto Summer Music Academy and Festival'. She gave a chamber music recital at the CBC's Glenn Gould Studio in Canada. She completed an advanced course with Maestro Gerard Claret in Barcelona, Spain. She has three albums released on the Docta digital music platforms. In popular music, she has performed at the Viña del Mar Festival alongside artists such as Laura Pausini, Marco Antonio Solis, Raphael and many others.
She has taken part in concerts by Inti Illimani, Jessy & Joe, Sara Britman, Ennio Morricone, among others. She has participated in recordings with artists such as Natalino, Felipe Schuster, Víctor Heredia, the HBO series Prófugos and the documentary El botón de Nácar, among others. Since the start of my musical career, my passion for teaching has been an extremely important part of my work. I have been a violin teacher and director of youth orchestras in Santiago and in other regions of the country for more than 15 years.
Today, together with my husband, who is also a professional musician (Felipe Andreani), we have our little son Ennio, a baby born in 2022. He has been the main driving force behind finding the best method of early musical initiation. In Chile, and from my experience as a professional musician and teacher, there is no system that addresses early-stage work in the way that DIAPASON THE WIZARD does. That is how we came to Paqui Castro and the Mago diapasón — in exactly the same way that this outstanding musical education system was created by Paqui originally, for the training of her children Sara and Pablo, who are now brilliant world-class musicians whom I admire greatly. For that reason, it is a first-rate system with excellent results, developing absolute pitch in children during the first years of life before beginning instrumental practice.
For that reason, we have decided to train and bring this unprecedented knowledge to our country. We founded the Mozarthitos Music Academy to bring all the knowledge of Paqui Castro and Diapason the Wizard to Chile for the education of the most significant years of human development — the first seven years — starting from the first months of life, when our children's brains have a potential they will never again possess.
I firmly believe that music and its practice are a fundamental human right; a well‑trained ear can generate unforeseen developments at both individual and collective levels within society. The true 'university' is found in those early years, and Mozarthitos with Diapason the Wizard now take care of this in our country, Chile.
