Experience and teaching approach
Music teacher. Music classes for babies and children. Specialist in early music education with the Diapason the Wizard approach and in the Suzuki violin method in Xalapa, Veracruz.
My name is Noemi. I am a violinist and music educator; I have directed my work towards music teaching in early childhood, convinced that the foundations for a person’s holistic development are laid in the early years of life.
I am a certified Suzuki Method teacher in violin teaching and in the programme SECE (Suzuki Early Childhood Education). In addition, I am a teacher of the Diapason the Wizard Method, an early music education programme of the highest standard—playful and deeply humane—that has allowed me to experience magical lessons where children immerse themselves in a sound world full of rhythm, singing and movement. Diapason the Wizard is more than a character: it is a guide that links the fantastical with the pedagogical, developing the ear and musical language in early years by presenting complex musical concepts in a natural way.
As part of my training I hold a master’s degree in Theory and Didactics of Solfège and a Bachelor’s degree in Music, specialising in Violin, from the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, with prior musical studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas where I completed a Diploma in the Arts. I have supplemented my preparation by taking courses in which I have had the opportunity to refine my skills with renowned teachers such as Gellya Dubrova, Félix Alanís, Erika Dobosiewicz, Shari Mason, Gordon Campbell and Asaf Kolestein, among others. I have also taken classes in the Alexander Technique, Nonviolent Communication and Stage Presence for Musicians—tools that help me be fully present in each lesson, conscious of the human bond created through teaching.
I have taught in various private and community settings, as well as in social-impact programmes such as Orquestando Armonía and Esperanza Azteca, where I reaffirmed the transformative power of music in diverse contexts.
I want every child who comes to one of my classes to experience music as something personal, accessible and full of joy. My commitment is to offer respectful, meaningful music education that recognises music not only as an artistic discipline but also as a tool for personal and social transformation from early childhood.
At Encanto Musical we offer music classes for children and babies using the Diapason the Wizard Method and violin lessons with the Suzuki Method. We are based in Xalapa, Veracruz.
