Experience and teaching approach
Early childhood music teacher of Diapason the Wizard, offering piano and Suzuki cello in San Pedro Cholula, San Andrés Cholula and Santa Isabel Cholula, Puebla, Mexico.
Hello, my name is Sharon Sánchez Nava, originally from the city of Puebla. I am a specialist in early stimulation and music teaching.
I studied for a Bachelor's degree in Music specialising in Cello at Universidad De Las Américas, Puebla. I also hold a Master's in Educational Innovations from Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla.
I have taken masterclasses with leading national and international teachers such as Adolfo Gutiérrez Arenas, Eduardo Palao, Gustavo and Eduardo Carpinteyro, Iñaki Extepare, Yehuda Hanani and Shu-Yi Scoot. The orchestras I have been a member of include the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (OSBUAP), the Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de Oaxaca (OSO) and, since 2018, the Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de Puebla (OSEP).
In my pursuit of high-quality music education I have trained to work with ever-earlier ages, and I am therefore certified in Diapason the Wizard and Suzuki cello.
We offer music classes for babies and children from six months. This provides a more complete education: children learn to read musical notation by age three, and their development is complemented by social, motor and emotional skills through sound, movement and instrumental posture. We encourage parents to take part in their children's musical education, working alongside the teacher to build family bonds through consistent routines that emphasise the child's character development.
I offer lessons at my own CELLO MINUET studio And DIAPASON THE WIZARD in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla.
